In fact she had the patience and gentleness of a saint around any child. A gentle giant. When the baby would be in her swing and even if I just left the room for a moment, I would come back to find Maguiness sitting next to the swing....guarding and watching over her. Don't let the big size of a dog be your fear. Big dogs often have the biggest hearts! Well......thanks for reading and taking the time to comment. Best of luck!Mama Nichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15245599266438704250noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2919415817871357575.post-73322600226820002692013-02-01T20:19:03.265-08:002013-02-01T20:19:03.265-08:00What a beautiful tribute post! My daughter went through the loss of her long time faithful friend....she is expecting her first baby in 5 weeks and just got another dog. He's 4 years old, and HUGE. I'm fearful of it being around the baby and to see how sweet your pets and kids are together I realize that maybe I shouldn't worry! HA! Me not worry?!?!?! Anyway...you have a beautiful familyJudyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13514963253966051988noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2919415817871357575.post-60701929970833731582013-02-01T09:35:20.393-08:002013-02-01T09:35:20.393-08:00Thanks for reading and for your support. I feel lost but as usual......I will continue to find my path and am comforted with knowing she isn't in pain.Mama Nichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15245599266438704250noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2919415817871357575.post-55013202011375549262013-02-01T07:38:13.787-08:002013-02-01T07:38:13.787-08:00I am so sorry :-( She was a beautiful boxer. It's been 3 years since our Aussie has been gone and we recently added a new member- a 3 year old mini schnauzer (who new we would like small dogs?) to our family. I feel Oscar, our aussie's presence even more now. It feels right- it feels good. But I completely empathize with how raw the loss, the absence feels. Sending you wishes of peace and comfort. xoxoAmy Cappellihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17053728413283340262noreply@blogger.com
