Hi.
Baby, in there.
I am one day shy from being 17 weeks pregnant. I have not felt that much anticipated 1st movement of yours yet. You are taking your sweet time, I guess and I will wait.
Your brother, first said hello to me at 15 weeks. Your sister, at an early 12 weeks. When will you say hi?
I just want to feel you and to know you are ok in there.
At the end of my (or our) 18th week we will have a level two ultrasound to check us out. If I don't hear from you by then, at least I will be able to see you soon.
I am most anxious to see if you are healthy and developing as you should be. I pray that you are. We are also going to find out if you are a boy or a girl. We didn't find out with your brother or sister but with you I can't wait to find out.
So, please know that I would love a little tap from you soon to let me know you are saying hello. And remember....I love you already.
Love,
Mama
With Violet, my 4th kiddo (now 2 years old), I remember being hyper anxious about feeling her flutter. Like you, my other babies made themselves known early on. I remember giving myself the greatest migraine in the 2 weeks prior to our ultrasound with Violet because I was certain (despite her strong heartbeat)that there was something wrong with her. But a few days before our ultrasound (at 18weeks), I felt the unmistakable wallop of little limbs. And despite all of my obsessing over everything that could possibly go wrong during the ultrasound- she was perfectly fine. I know that you have different concerns, for different reasons. Hang in there, mama.
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your story with me. I will just have to be patient.
DeleteI think that you've just got a very chill little guy or gal growing in there. You'll feel that tap tap tap, soon I'm sure. :) xo
ReplyDeleteI am sure I will too.....in time. This one certainly has his or her own agenda! :)
